  3. Nice! Great collection.

A couple of these are new to me.

In a quick glance of these, let me note that row 2 of the two stitch check should be edited. You inadvertently put the same thing on row 2 as row 1, instead of flipping them, although I think row 1 and 2 could just as easily be the same, with the flip happening on rows 3 and 4.

On that same note, on the double moss, the in the round version is the only way I've done it. Is there a particular reason why you work the rows somewhat differently (or I should say, in a slightly different order - doing only one row, initially, before you flip the stitches) in the flat panel version? Just wondering.

    Thanks again.

  4. Hello Michael,

First, let me say thanks for looking over the post and checking it for errors. I don't have a proofreader for this blog so it's always nice to have extra eyes. I can't find errors with either stitch that you have pointed out. Perhaps you are thinking of different versions of these stitches. Many stitches have the same name but aren't the same stitch.

Here is the needle version of the Two Stitch Check.
Two Stitch Check by Claire Crompton
    (reversible)
Multiple of 4 sts plus 2
    Row 1 K2 *p2, k2, rep from * to end.
    Row 2 P2 *K2, p2, rep from * to end.
Row 3 Same as row 2.
Row 4 Same as row 1.

Row 2 has been changed to the opposite stitch to accommodate the fact that we don't knit on the wrong side.

As for the double moss. The flat version and the "in the round" version are always different unless you are working with an odd number of stitches. As far as I can tell this one is correct also unless you see an error with it. Have a great day-Nicole

  5. Thank you for sharing. I've been looking for different stitches. The original one gets boring. 😜
